Hey, I’m Ashley Kirk, and today we want to share a success story with you. So one particular facility that comes to mind and a provider that comes to mind about a year ago came to work for us. This was a new facility that we started working with. They reached out for help because we were in one of their sister facilities, and they were in a very rural area with limited access to health care, had a lot of staff turnover, and in a very low socioeconomic status community.

And our provider comes in, and basically, she almost left the first day. I would have. It was a rough start.

It was it was a rocky start, because not only had the home experienced a ton of turnover in the past, but they were still going through turnover. They had a new administrator, and they still needed to weed out some employees. So it’s really tough. There was some of the employees that really didn’t want her in the building. They wanted to just do it the old way, and they didn’t really want to change and conform to a new way. And what was really neat is fast forward two months down the road. I don’t know how she got through the first month, to be honest with you, but fast forward two months down the road, they can’t live without her, and they, you know. They sing her praises daily. They have the doctors that come in that only want to come in and round with her. They don’t want to come in if she’s not in there because she knows what’s going on with the patients day in and day out. She knows how to update that physician on what’s going on with them. So it was just really neat to see something that started out kind of rough and rocky and chaotic come to where it’s at today, to where she is just doing a great job for the patients there and also with the staff.
